Hi, I’m Cheryl.

I work with people who are carrying more than they show.

On the surface, they might look like they’re coping well. They’re functioning, achieving, caring for others, and keeping life moving forward.

But internally, there is often something very different happening. A constant sense of pressure. Overthinking that won’t switch off. Emotional exhaustion that never fully lifts. Or a quiet feeling of being stuck in survival mode, even when life looks “fine” from the outside.

What I see again and again is not separate problems, but the same underlying pattern showing up in different ways.

A nervous system that has been under too much pressure for too long.

This is where the Heart-to-Heal™ Method begins.

The Heart-to-Heal™ Method

The Heart-to-Heal™ Method is a structured, integrative approach that helps people understand what is happening beneath their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours so real change becomes possible.

Instead of focusing only on managing symptoms or pushing through, we work with the system underneath everything, the mind, the body, and the nervous system, and how they respond to stress, experience, and pressure over time.

When this system becomes overwhelmed, it can show up as anxiety, burnout, emotional shutdown, self-doubt, overthinking, or high-functioning stress that never fully switches off.
When it begins to regulate again, clarity returns, emotional steadiness increases, and people begin to respond to life from a calmer, more grounded place rather than a reactive one.

This is not about becoming a different person.

It is about returning to a more regulated version of yourself.

My Story

Like many of the people I now work with, I know what it feels like to keep going while holding a lot inside.

Over the years, I experienced anxiety, grief, family breakdown, and periods where I felt emotionally stretched beyond what anyone could see.

In 2018, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
That experience became a turning point.
It brought everything into focus and made it impossible to ignore what my body had been communicating for a long time. It also led me to question how I was living, what I had normalised, and what I truly wanted for my life moving forward.

As I moved through my own healing, I began to understand something that changed everything.

Lasting change does not happen at the level of thinking alone.

It happens when we understand the connection between the mind, emotions, body, and nervous system, and learn how to work with it rather than against it.

That understanding became the foundation of the Heart-to-Heal™ Method.

How the Method Works


The Heart-to-Heal™ Method works with one core system, the nervous system, and supports people across different life experiences where that system has become overloaded or stuck in protective patterns.

For some, this shows up as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low confidence, or burnout.
For others, it shows up in a different way. High functioning pressure. Constant internal drive. Leadership stress. Overthinking under responsibility. A sense of needing to hold everything together while feeling internally stretched.

Different lives. Same underlying system response.
We work together to gently shift this pattern so the system can move from protection into regulation, and from survival into steadiness.

As that happens, people often notice changes in emotional resilience, clarity of thinking, relationships, decision-making, and how they handle pressure in everyday life.

For professionals, leaders, and high achievers who appear to be functioning at a high level but are carrying internal pressure, stress, or overdrive.

The focus is on reducing internal noise, improving clarity under pressure, strengthening emotional resilience, and supporting sustainable performance without depletion.

We are working with the nervous system’s response to pressure, and helping it return to balance so life can be experienced with more clarity, stability, and ease.

"All individual sessions are conducted online using Zoom. My standard rate for a one-hour therapy session is £50.

To ensure we have the time to create meaningful and lasting change, I work with clients for a minimum of 6 sessions. This commitment allows us to build a strong therapeutic relationship and work through challenges at a comfortable pace.

I also offer a free, no-obligation 30-minute consultation. This is our chance to meet, discuss what's on your mind, and see if we're a good fit to work together before you make any financial commitment.

Payment is made simple and secure, typically via invoice before the first session. I will provide details when we book our first appointment.
